About the Maker

Whitney Spicer

Whitney lives on a property in Manildra with her husband Tim and can be found in her art shed painting when she's not with her three little boys; Finley, Teddy and Darby. Darby occasionally plays studio assistant, which involves a copious amount of snack breaks and many monster trucks rallies. Painting has always been somewhat of a meditative practice to Whitney, one which she initially had no intention of sharing. We're forever grateful she decided to share her talents with us.

It’s such fun working on sourcing gorgeous new handmade products by women across rural, regional and remote Australia. There’s so many new introductions to Wattle and Twine and I’ve experienced some serious fan girl moments in the process.. enjoy!
