Nan's Farm

Sarah Russell

Come for a walk with me and let's explore Nan's Farm...

A sweet story of a young girl who loves visiting and exploring with nan on her farm. Her day is spent gathering eggs from the chooks, patting animals, hopping with wallabies, laughing with kookaburras, dressing up cows, spying wild horses, picking fruit and making marmalade.

Cleverly intertwined within the story is counting back from ten to one. Along with a search and find for hidden frogs and a page of farmyard facts, this book is highly engaging and interactive.

Praise for the Book

The Illustrations are beautiful and capture the mood of both the setting and the young girl’s affection toward the farm. And, with a touch of playfulness, the illustrations challenge you to find the hidden frogs.' Reading with a chance of Tacos

About the Author
Sarah Russell is an author and illustrator who grew up in the city but her heart was always drawn back to her Nan's Farm on the mid north coast. Spending her holidays feeding the horses, checking on chooks and following Nan around the farm inspired Sarah's love of animals and nature.
After Nan welcomed her first great grandchild, Sarah was inspired to create an everlasting snapshot of the memories shared at Nan's farm. "It has been such a joy to share my story and hear about similar experiences and memories of other Nan's, Grandma's, Nana's and Nanny's farms."
