Carly and Seb Moone
As fires burned across the country, Carly and Seb Moone created a picture book in support of Australia’s secret superheroes – our Firies. Inspiration for the book came from their own personal experience of bushfires, around their family farm in Tambellup, country Western Australia.
"Seeing the way our family, neighbours and the community so selflessly reacted to these fires inspired us to find a way to shine a light on our unsung heroes while raising money to support fire affected areas."
My Dad, the Secret Superhero began as a crowdfunding campaign through Pozible. The campaign raised over $20,000 with all profits being donated to the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife to assist with bushfire rehabilitation.
