About the Maker

Alison Jackson

Alison Jackson calls the Southwest of Western Australia home. Macrame was a handcraft Alison enjoyed as a young teenager many, many years ago. She has recently returned to the craft as a therapeutic outlet after experiencing some health issues that have confined Alison to her home a lot more. The process of knotting and creating encourages Alison to switch off. She also attests to getting great enjoyment from knowing that someone has loved a piece of her work enough to want to display it in their own home.

It’s such fun working on sourcing gorgeous new handmade products by women across rural, regional and remote Australia. There’s so many new introductions to Wattle and Twine and I’ve experienced some serious fan girl moments in the process.. enjoy!
