About the Maker

Walandella Designs

Walandella Designs pieces are designed and hand made by Gina in Tamworth NSW. Each piece is lovingly handmade with country charm in limited/small batch runs. Walandella Designs will quickly become a favourite choice for baby shower gifts, baby and children’s clothing, and accessories due to the quality, durability and fun fresh fabrics used.

Gina has been sewing for over eight years, starting out with the humble bibs and burp cloths and expanding into clothes and other accessories over time.

Now with a young daughter of her own, Gina relishes the opportunity to create in between feed times and family time. Gina admits the business can take up as little or as much of her time as she allows. "The joys of marketing tools such as Instagram and Facebook allow me to connect with the ‘outside’ world and allow me to control the flow of orders by how much I post and interact with the audience.’

It’s such fun working on sourcing gorgeous new handmade products by women across rural, regional and remote Australia. There’s so many new introductions to Wattle and Twine and I’ve experienced some serious fan girl moments in the process.. enjoy!
