About the Maker

Emily Blackley

Emily lives on a cattle property near Taroom, Queensland with her husband and four young daughters. Having loved painting forever, Emily has made her artwork and cards her side hustle since the tender age of eight. In the past two years, Emily has made it a priority for her own sanity to paint more regularly and has gone into watercolours so she can pick up and put down around the demands of her young family. Emily admits, "creating lights up my life and colour gives me a buzz!"
