Gabby Dawnay

Gabby Dawnay is an experienced children’s writer, screenwriter & occasional illustrator. She’s written numerous picture books, including the popular ‘If I had…’ series for Thames & Hudson, as well as children’s animated shows such as Postman Pat and Messy Goes to Okido. She also writes for award-winning children’s magazines, ‘OKIDO’ and Eco Kids planet. Art, science, poetry and nature are all subjects close to her heart. Gabby lives in Brixton with her ‘Reading Dog’ whippet, aloof cat, children and husband. She is an avid reader, podcast listener and television watcher.
