Usborne is one of the world’s leading independent children's book publishers and proud to be a family business. Founded by Peter Usborne in 1973 when he found out he was going to become a father, he worked in publishing until he passed away aged 85 and a ½. His dedication to being a children's book publisher earned him a medal from King Charles III for ‘Services to Literature’. Now his daughter Nicola is honoured to continue her dad’s astonishing legacy.
Quite unusually, all Usborne's books are conceived, written, and designed in-house, by their hugely talented team. Every book ever published – and ever will – aims to spark curiosity.
