Jess Purnell
Jess is a mother of 2 wild little kiddos, a fiancé, a teacher and now a budding children’s author. Alongside her family, Jess lives on a family property in the small Queensland town of Roma (500km west of Brisbane). "Roma runs deep in our blood, with our family living here for 6 generations, my grandmother’s name was Roma (believe it or not). I am a small-town girl with a love of the bush and this is where the idea began! Books from the Bush". In a world of worries my dream is to write children’s stories embodying the Aussie spirit and humour. My goal is to create stories for our children and students to bond together and foster the love of reading.
