Artist Bio
Working full time as a registered nurse in a busy metropolitan hospital, Al paints in snippets of spare time.

Initially, painting was a form of bereavement therapy after the loss of Al’s son and she now creates in her small studio space – ‘Little Leif Studio’ – in his memory. The diverse Australian landscape is a constant source of inspiration – especially the big sky in all its moods. “I particularly love to paint the rolling hills, wide open fields and tree-covered mountains of my surroundings.”
