‘This book is dedicated to all the mums, dads and School of the Air teachers who have had such a positive impact on so many young lives through their commitment to learning in sometimes very difficult circumstances.'
This vibrantly illustrated book explores the daily life of children in the outback who complete school via School of the Air. Beautifully told, the story explores the different types of families who access school of the air, the outback classroom and even the 'Cluster Musters' - in person gatherings to further foster connection between classmates. Complete with a map of Australia SOTA bases and a brief history of the service, the story presents so many learning opportunities.
