Large Boro

Combining natural fibres - linen, cotton and hemp - with repurposed offcuts and remnants, Scattered Four Wind clutches are consciously made with the environment in mind. Using striking screenprinted textiles and embellishing with different types of stitching, embroidery and fringing, you are purchasing a one of a kind piece of art. Each clutch oozes refined style!

Style Variation:

  • Front: Offcuts of screenprinted fabrics in a mixture of linen, hemp and cotton by at least five different Australian textile designers and solid linen, with sashiko stitching, to create a boro style piece of useable art. Sashiko stitching is in black, white and cream coloured Japanese sashiko cotton.
  • Back: Dark grey, dusty pink and paprika heavyweight linen and screenprinted organic hemp/cotton.
  • Lining: Dark grey shot quilting cotton

Clutch measures approximately:
10.5 inches (27cm) wide by 8 inches (20.5cm) high.

Care:
Spot clean with mild detergent and dry in the shade.

About the Maker
Currently based in Roma, Andrea Phillips grew up in south west Queensland and lived in the UK for 10 years until she moved back with her family (British husband and two children) two years ago. Previously an interior designer, developed an appreciation for screenprinted textiles upon returning to Australia and started to incorporate these into her designs. Using predominantly Australian designer textiles combined with offcuts, remnants and repurposed fabrics, Andrea is focused on natural fibres and sustainability.
