About the Maker

Silver From the Sticks

Born and bred in the Upper Western Division of New South Wales, sisters, Tammy and Stacy love the country and the lifestyle that goes with it. Between them they have six children and are kept busy running their respective properties "Waverley Downs" and "Reola Station." However, it was an encounter with silversmith, Peter Beresford of Cunnamulla many years ago that has transformed feed and water runs into an opportunity to dream of jewellery designs. Meanwhile, entry into the workshop provides a much needed therapeutic distraction from the hardships faced on the land. Drawing inspiration from their surroundings, the sisters love nothing more than to make jewellery with a point of difference which will be lovingly cherished and worn.

Handmade with heart

It’s such fun working on sourcing gorgeous new handmade products by women across rural, regional and remote Australia. There’s so many new introductions to Wattle and Twine and I’ve experienced some serious fan girl moments in the process.. enjoy!
